MedStar Student Partnership | Create an account

Introduction

The MedStar Student Partnership Organization is meant for students and instructors of various universities who complete training during 1 or more semesters at MedStar Health. 

This article is meant for students and instructors using SiTELMS for the first time
Note: GUSOM students should not use this guide


Account Creation

Follow the instructions below to create an account. 

  1. Navigate to https://www.sitelms.org/

  2. Click on “Activate Account”

  3. Select “I do not have a MedStar Health Network ID, MedStar Health Employee ID, or MedStar Health Email” - Note if you do please follow the intructions in this article - Adding the MedStar Student Partnership Org to existing account

  4. Select: “I am a student or instructor completing a rotation at MedStar Health”.

  5. Enter your personal information:

    • First Name

    • Middle Name

    • Last Name

    • Date Of Birth

    • Email Address - Must be a university email

    • Create Password

    • Confirm Password

  6. Select “Continue”

  1. Fill in your Organization Details:

The form will expand with more options, see below for details on each field:

  • Department: Select the hospital/entity assigned to your training 

  • Job Category: Select "Patient Care"

  • Role: Select "Student" or "Instructor"

  • Job Title: Select appropriate role from dropdown menu

 

You have successfully created your account. The department head of the organization will verify your account and approve it.
